What drugs are used in chemotherapy?!
Question: i am a 12 years old who was treated at CHOP. I take chemo every two weeks. But all together i've taken Marcaptapurine, Dexamethazone, Vincristine, Methatrexate, Bactrum and some other stuff I can't remember.

it all depends on the cancer you have and how bad it is.
When my husband had chemotherapy, they gave him what is called CHOP. I have forgotten what it was made up of. There are a variety of drugs that they use. My hubby had Non~Hodgkin's Lymphoma but Praise The Lord he is totally healed!!
I am so sorry about your family and friends. That is so hard to bear. We have lost too many friends in the past few years from cancer. They told us that it is becoming more prevalent all the time.
It depends on the type of cancer you have. I have nasopharyngeal carcinoma and for me they're using three cycles of just Cisplatin and then three more cycles of chemo after that which will be Cisplatin along with 5-FU.
my 13 yr old son has osteosarcoma. He is being treated with Doxorubicin, Cisplatin, and methatrexate
I don*t have an answer to this question because when my mom had breast cancer she had radiation therapy, not chemotherapy.
