You can get skin cancer anywhere but this could still just be a mole! Get it checked out anyway as a precaution but usually it is cancerous if it is an uneven irregular shape and black in colour and sometimes bleeding.

Science has moved on these recent years and nothing is quite as serious as it used to be due to the excellent treatments that there are now available and the extremely high success rates.
Good luck

Yes it is possible it is skin cancer it is very smart of you to get it checked out.... People even get skin cancer on the bottoms of thier feet and sun doesn't shine there often either

when the mole sufaces smack it the head with lump hammer!

no dude i was born with one there and ive had no problems and if it was cancerous i believe it would hurt or feel odd

You can have moles everywhere on your body and yes they can be cancerous. Since you are probably pretty young I doubt that it is cancer but it's always safe to have it checked.

Well sure you can get melanoma anywhere on your body. Just don't pick at the mole or expose it to ultraviolet rays. If the mole gets bigger or begins to change shape then you should see a doctor. On the other hand if it itches it may be genital warts.
