Does anyone no a remedy for seborrehic dermatitis? I have it in my ears and it d!
Question: Seborrehic dermatitis and psoriasis are closely related skin conditions with similar symptoms!! I have psoriasis in my ears and various other places including my scalp!! I have been using Dermarest Skin Treatment for Psoriasis and Dermarest Scalp Treatment!! They say they treat Seborrehic dermatitis too!! This product is available over the counter at any drugstore - if it is not in stock the druggist can order it for you!! It costs about $8.00 a bottle and a little goes a long way!
There is to date no cure for these skin conditions but there are treatments that can help us control it somewhat or at least help us to live with the symptoms!! This product helps me with the itch, with removal of scales, and is very soothing! Perhaps it will help you too!!! If not - don't give up hope!! It sometimes takes a while to find the one product out of the many on the market that can help you!! Be careful that you only use it externally - do not let it get down into your ear canal! If your problem is deep into the ear canal the only safe thing to do is to ask a doctor what you should use!! Good Luck!!
