Dry skin on chin?!


Question: Ok, i had a zit on mi chin and i was washing my face and now from my bottom lip down it is bright red and dry, like chapped lips. I have been using the same facial washes and everything for a long time, so i dont know how i would have got it.... *how can i get it to go away, and what would have caused it??* i dont wear any make up accept lip gloss.... also *whats a good morning routine for a 13 year old?* i'm homeschooled but i still like to wash mi face and sometimes do mi hair and stuff, but i cant find out the order to do it.... LOL. i wake up at 7:30-8:00 usually...

Maybe you rubbed it too hard and irritated the area. Try rubbing some neosporin on it and leave on overnight. Hopefully that will help; if not you should ask your mom about seeing a dermatologist if it doesn't clear up.

Make sure you drink lots of water. The area around your mouth can get very dry if you don't drink enough water.

But your chin is probably dry because acne products contain an active ingredient salicylic acid and it drys your skin and make it red. Try using oil-free face lotion along with a more gentle acne product. If your skin is dry and has rash then you should visit a doctor or dermotologist because you might be allergic to an ingredient in the acne product.
