Does fasting heal some cancers?!

Question: It would be nice if we had more medical documentation on this or studies.

Some claim to have been healed through this.

The body goes into a different mode when fasting and starts burning more fat than sugar or protein, for instance.

And I wonder whether cancerous cells need more nutrients than normal cells or survive. Perhaps the body's transistion affects the cancerous cells more dramatically than the normal cells, in essence-thus causing them to die off. Another theory would be that healthy/normal cells could survive running on bare minimum, while cancerous cells don't fare as well.

Fasting has been proven to have some health benefits such as extending life, but it would be interesting if more research was done in regards to fasting and cancer and documented or studied closely.

So many peple with cancer out there. Shouldn't be that hard to do and research.

What you say is correct theoretically, and some random studies have shown that fasting and eating less food prevents cancer. As for curing a cancer, I would not venture an opinion.
Prolonged studies are needed to prove or disprove it.
How would a cancer patient feel if he is advised fasting instead of drugs/surgery as a treatment for his disease? He will not agree to it, unless the doctors give him up as hopeless.

Fasting definitely can heal cancer, as the body uses the energy used in digesting food to heal and detox one's body.
This requires a definite mindset, and medical supervision re the length of time to fast.
Many cases have been reported when fasting is accompanied by prayer.

Oh if only life were so easy. If only cancer could be cured so simply. some things do aggravate a cancer and need to be avoided. Cigarette smoke, for instance.

But put this question, which is a good one, to the experts. I'm sure you will find that no positive research is being held back.
Before people can be treated, it has to be rigorously tested and that takes years.

Jesus heals cancer. Have you tried asking Jesus but before you do have you repented of your sins and forgiven people that have hurt you?

From books I have read, most notably "Food and Healing", it can aid the treatment of cancer, as can a vegetarian, vegan or macrobiotic diet.

But, as with anything else, it should only be done under the advice and supervision of a doctor.

Heaven: My mom did that, fervently..... she'll be in Brick Church Cemetary 4 years now in June.
