What do date rape drugs do?!


Question: I know someone who was raped and the person that raped him admitted they used a date rape drug, claiming that the person dosen't remember the night they were raped. I even asked the guy if he rememberd anything and he said he didn't.

Date rape drugs (like Rohipool.. sp?) are frequently drugs that are regularly used as a surgical anesthesia for either people or animals. (Frequently animals, as it is easier to get.) They do just what they do for surgical purposes.... sedate the body and the mind at the same time to a point of no memory or perceived sensation. These frequently last for quite a number of hours. It is very common for someone not to remember anything.
