Can I get HSV-2 Twice?!
Question: I have HSV-2, Although it's oral Herpes. Now My boyfriend has HSV-2 as well, but we've never had unprotected sex. Therefore if I marry him, and I decide to have children with him, and we have unprotected sex... will I get sores in my genitals although I already Have HSV-2 but it's oral?

Have you had blood tests to determine if you have HSV1 or HSV2? Both viruses can be transmitted to either area- the genitals or the mouth (and other areas as well). Having cold sores on your mouth does not necessarily mean you have type 1, nor does having genital herpes mean you have type 2.
If you do have type 2 on your mouth and your boyfriend has type 2 as well, it may offer you some immunity to spreading the virus to another area but it is NO guarantee. The virus is spread through
