Depending on the size and location cyst removal can be mild to heavy pain. Also determining when remove a cyst can depend on it location. If you allow a cyst to grow relatively large, it cause discomfort and pain. And the removal may not be anymore pleasant. But if is doesn't grow and remains the same size, thus causing no harm or discomfort you may opt to leave it.
that depends where. and if you have a surgery to do it or just at home. mine got infected on my arm and my dad just squeezed it out for me. it was painful.
but it was tolerable
