When I finish a hot shower i cough what causes that?!
Question: I dont smoke. As soon as i get out into my room tempature bathroom i cough a few times. I am seeing a doctor but it wont be for 3 weeks.

It is natural for phlegm to run down your throat over time into your lungs, especially this time of year (in the northern hemisphere). The steam from the shower loosens it up.
As an occasional smoker, I make it a habit to try and cough up phlegm after showers to clean out my system.
If it's really bad, it might be a pneumonia.
i dont know that is a strange one especially if you dont smoke.
Hot liquids and steam loosen up phlegm.
Warm moist steam help to loosen it up...it can be pretty gross huh?
Don't worry too much about it unless you are coughing up blood or unusually large chunks.
It's the bodies way of cleaning up your lungs.....pretty natural
