Post gallbladder surgery problems?!

Question: Yesterday I had my gallbladder removed laparoscopically. Most people recover from this fine and are up and about the next day, this is NOT the case for me.
im dizzy, feel sick, and having a hard time walking and using stomach muscles. Im 14 and the doc said I had 75-100 stones wich is very unusal cause Ive never been overweight and was always a helthy eater. My questions are:

1. Is this unusal?
2. Any pain and/or dizziness remidies?

Please help Im miserable

This is still a major surgery and it takes time for your body to recover. My daughter had her gallbladder removed when she was 16 and was never overweight. From what I understand it is a little unusual she had hundreds of stones. But she recovered just fine. Just give it some time, the gallbladder is not a small organ and your body needs to adjust.

If you are still having problems when you go for a post-operation check-up talk to your doctor about it. I hope you feel better soon:)

Listen to your body -- you shouldn't be moving. Walking is fine, but give yourself TIME.

Also, call your doctor if you develop a fever and/or start to throw up. You could be reacting to taking pain pills on an empty stomach.

being dizzy a day after your surgery is not uncommon, you need to take it easy the day after surgery. as for the pain your surgeon should have given you a prescription for pain medication. if they did not go to the ER and they will give you some.

if in a few more days talk to your surgeon.

Anesthesia maybe causing your dizziness and nausea. Every one reacts differently. You belly is should be a little sore today, that is normal. In a few days you will be fine. My daughter, who is 16 is scheduled to have the same surgery on the 27th. Do as the doctor says and rest and be very careful with what you eat ! It will take a few months before you can push the envelope with fatty foods. I had my removed several years ago.
