Small Lumps?!

Question: I've got 3 or 4 small, hardish lumps on the underside of my forearm, a couple on my torso and one on the side of my neck.

I was told the one on my arm was some fat, could the rest be this aswell as I have put on a bit of weight?

They sound like lipomas, or fatty tumors. They have nothing to do with your weight. Some people are just prone to getting them. If they bother you a surgeon can remove them, but then you may have an unsightly scar. If they grow or become painful the other possibility is that they are sebaceous cysts, which are fluid-filled growths. These can easily become infected and must be removed. See your doctor if you are concerned about them, okay?

yes these are fatty deposits,i think most peeps have them even if they arnt fat or have put on weight, i have them, and im a women and i have quite a few in my boobs and arms, i was worried about the lumps in my boobs so had them checked out, and the doc reassured me that they were just fatty tissue and perfectly normal, so my guess this is what u have, but if you are worried id just go and get them checked out with your doc to put your mind at rest :) xxxxxxx

i don't know i would get them checked out if i were you you cant be too careful

It might just be mashed potato. Have you been flinging it about the house lately?

yes they are lipomas they are benign which means they can not spread to other parts but can grow larger you might have to get them surgically removed.
