Pain relievers taken with an antibiotic is OK as long as you don't exceed the recommended daily dose. I am not sure what is in Nyquil so I can't comment on that.

Be sure to take finsish the course of the antibiotic even if you start to feel better. This is very important.

Feel better soon. Strp throat is nasty.

definitely lay off the motrin

If you die then you screwed up.

Uhhhhh no, it's definitely too much. You don't need the nyquil, the motrin and the amoxillin is enough.

That is too much.

I'm no doctor but you should just take the Amoxicillin.

this is why people overdose.

when prescribed meds take those only and what the doctor tell you...
I'm sure the doctor didn't tell you to take the other stuff...

a 14 year old should never be taking that much medication. When I was younger my doctor OD'd me on it and I ended up in the ER, shaking like crazy, so much so that I couldnt stand up. Because it was anti-biotics it not only made me really shakey, but it also hindered my body's own defenses. Just take the amoxicillin, leave the rest of the stuff out. You dont need it. I know being sick isnt fun but it would be much worse to be sick and in the hospital.

I would recommend:
1) THE AMOXOCILLIN DEFINITELY!
That is an antibiotic, and is the only thing that will cure this!
2) Take Motrin OR NyQuil.
I would suggest, Motrin only.
Unless you have a real reason for NyQuil.
If you are using the NyQuil, for throat pain, try a pain relieving threat spray.
