When there will be a vaccine available for herpes?!

Question: There is a vaccine that I think is still in clinical testing.
Preliminary data about a viral glycoprotein-based vaccine against HSV-2 has shown some good results. It provides short term protection for HSV type 1 -negative women (women who don't have HSV-1)
BUT
no protection has been found in men.

Therapeutic vaccines have also been studies (vaccines that are used after someone has a disease to help the body deal better with the infection) BUT results to date have demostrated a lack of effect compared to placebo.

Some day....

When or if they ever discover one.

50 years who knows, best just to use a condom. unless its a cold sore x

Even if you come from the West Country, missing out words does not make what you have written into good English. When they do develop a useful vaccine it is bound to be in The Sun or the News of the World, so you are bound to spot it.

Prevention is better than cure - without knowing which srain of herpes u r relating 2- boosting ur immune system helps prevent the frequebncy & severity of attacks, reducing sugar intake & increasing nutrients that boost the immune system all help 2 keep this virus at bay- lyseine tablets av also proved 2 b effective but I've no personal experience there - I know DrBach's rescure remedy has reduced the length & severity of recent attacks but I only suffer from cold sores

Education on the subject matter is the best treatment/prevention. Valtrex fights off the outbreaks. But you have to attack and destroy the virus not just attempt to keep it dormant. Check out the site below.
