Pap test found no bacteria in the cocci group?!
Question: does this mean my gf may have an std? the dr gave her some augmentin due to some pain in her female parts. her pap showed no bacteria in the cocci group. i am just curious if i should get a test as well, though i feel fine and have no symptoms.

Sounds like he was treating her for bacterial vaginosis, which is the second most common vaginal infection, the first being yeast. It is not a sexually transmitted disease and can happen just because of hormonal changes, stress, illness, wearing non-cotton underwear, douching and tub bathing. Totally treatable and hard for men to catch.
if she was tested for chlamydia and gon during her pap smear and it was neg, no std of that form, however if she wasn't tested for herpes etc...wait why does she have pain in her genitals?
