Hydrocortisone cream does not help acne. The cure is dependent upon the cause. High testosterone levels can be one cause. That would need to be explored by your doctor. One of the things that I have found to work the best is a combo of tetracycline (it kills the bacteria that cause the acne) and Brevoxyl face wash. Always use a good non-oily moisturizer so your face doesn't feel the need to produce its own oil making the problem worse.
