What is the best thing I can do from spreading my genital warts to my girlfriend!

Question: I would like to know ways i could cover it during sex, or if anyone knows any over the counter lotions to also use. I need help please. Thank you.

I don't think they make over the counter meds for genital warts, I am pretty certain you have to go to the doctor. If you go, they will probably tell you what the best method of treatment is. Sometimes they wil see you a few sessions and burn them off with a special acid. They can prescribe you a cream that you are supposed to use for like 10 or 12 weeks if you want to take care of it yourself, but it's a little costly and you will be irritated in the area for the whole time. My advice is get rid of what you have. A lot of people get them once, take care of them, and never get them again. Genital warts are passed through skin to skin contact...in other words the virus lives in your skin, whether you have the warts or not, even after you get rid of them, the virus is still there. So, a condom is not a perfect fix, but it will help, especially if you have warts on your penis. They are more likely to spread if present.
P.S. My doctor said she has never seen a case of genital warts that spread to the mouth...it can happen, but it's very rare, so in case you were worried about never getting head again...don't worry so much. Also, ignore the answer from the person that said, "nasty!" that virus is so common that they've probably been exposed more than once if they have any kind of sex life. They could have it and not even know it...it can take months or years to flare up! Also, I am married...my husband and I have unprotected sex and (knock on wood) he hasn't gotten them. I did take care of the ones I had though, as soon as I discovered them. Hope this helped.

NASTTY

not have sex

condoms or abstinance

Protection!

Unfortunately I dont think there is anything else to use, although genital warts is caused by HPV (human papilloma virus) there are several strains but 80% of sexually active people have a strain of it. There is a new vaccine that may help her. But I think you have to be under 25 to get it. It is supposed to be for preventing cervical cancer. She should look into it, and always wear a condom....

does she know that you have genital warts?
wear a condom
get her to get the hpv shot (guardisil)
but that shot only prevents a hand full of the viruses, so go back to the doctor and see if you have one that the vaccine prevents.

good luck.

It is illegal for you to lie or cover up and std to your sexual partner. You could be prosicuted. If you dont want to spread them to her, stop having sex with her and tell her what you have. From there it is her responsibility to not contract it.

cut off your penis and finger fk her...duh

go to a uroligst or dermatologist. They can apply a solution that makes warts reactive to uv light. They then can apply a chemical to burn off the wart, even those that are quite small. Do not have sex with her with warts. HPV very bad for women, can lead to cerivical cancer and is tought to treat warts in women due to anatomy.
