It is not nice to starve the bod!! Must feed it regularly with proper foods or it will turn and be very mean to you.
Nurse? said?? Didn't you follow this up with the doctor? Did the nurse bring you some orange juice or something?
I was about that low after taking the treadmill stress test! Nurses didn't even offer me any water!
Do you trust the nurse??? I don't!! They are half educated.
It depends, are you in America/the UK? If you are in the UK, that is EXTREMELY high, if you are in the USA that is quite low, so if your in the USA, eat, and I'm surprised your not in a coma! If you are in the UK, call an ambulance now and say it is a diabetic emergency.

btw, why don't you just do what the nurse says in future, she is most probably right, so why don't you just listen, rather that seek advice on the internet?

43 is a big low.
Why didn't you eat and check your sugar before leaving the house ?
You always need a quick source of sugar with you.
The nurse was right.You needed to eat !
