Throat cancer?!
Question: i have had a really bad sore throat for about a week now. no fever, no white spots, but my glands are a swollen. i dont smoke but im around people a lot who do smoke such as my brothers and friends. im not going to lie - im somewhat of a hypochondriac. my throat has just been hurting so bad and has been extremely dry (i live in the desert though aka arizona). im going to the doctor on saturday. im only 19 so im thinking it wouldnt be throat cancer but of course the worrier in me is jumping to conclusions and thinking omg! has anyone experienced something like this before? likd i said no fever and as far as i know i dont see any white spots. thank you so much for your answers!!!! they really are greatly appreciated :)

rest my love you havent got throat cancer!you have been reading to many stories im not suprised your throat is dry living in a desert lol!worrying like that is making you think the worst!my brother had throat cancer and he was only 34,sadley he didnt make it now my sister has it,too but you are to young to even think about it enjoy your life and take your thoughts to a nicer place i dont smoke myself but i still would advise people not to smoke god bless my dear your ok x
My guess is that you probably have swollen glands - that can cause throat pain. Do you still have your tonsils? You could even have strep throat. I would put the throat cancer worry on the back burner. Odds are you don't have it.
this season is 1 to get any kinda throatinfection or vocalcord-abuse could be cause......maybe if you would get a girlfriend you stop being such a hypochondriac......
