What do you do to ease dry skin that makes you itch all over?!

Question: I have the same problem and I found a whole bunch of home remedies that work great. I will send you the links look at all of them they have a lot of informatioon for you. One of the links is for a mask you can make and apply at home.
There is also a quiz to see what your skin type is (besides just dry).
Good luck with eveything

CeraVe cream in the one pound jar. Apply after showering, after patting dry. It will keep you from drying out for 24 hours and is the only product on the market with ceramides in it that people with dry, itchy skin lack. It is great stuff and truly works. Make sure you use hypoallergenic cleansers and moisturize to block in moisture whenever you bathe. Drink plenty of water as well.

Hypoallergenic baby oil is a good option and cheaper, but some people do not like the greasy feel. The CeraVe is the best option. You can also buy lidocaine cream/spray to stop the itch while you are getting your skin back into condition.

Strange that you should ask that!
I have had dry skin all my life, never bothered me at all, 'dry skin' so what? Who wants wet skin?
Then last week I developed a rash on my arm, it itched I bought some anti itch stuff, it stopped the itch, but I still had the rash.
I went to the doc, he said "you have dry skin!!!!!
Big deal, very clever aren't they??
So he gave me a prescription for some stuff called Lotriderm, and another one for some stuff called Emulsifying cream, to use in place of soap, they worked.
Now not being a Doc I don't know if you can just go out and buy this stuff over the counter, but I think it was the non soap stuff that cleared it up.
You should be able to buy that no problem, but it is used all over the body, and is very difficult to swill off after a shower, but it works!

use calamine lotion or aloe like the famous annmonroe would do.
