Can I make myself sick from my own germs?!
Question: I had the stomach flu yesterday morning. Can I catch it again from myself by doing things such as using my toothbrush, sleeping in my bed, and using my toilet? Am I contagious to myself?! This may sound dumb and paranoid but I don't care I'm freaking out. Thanks to anyone who answers!

The stomach flu is caused by a virus, which can't live for very long outside of a host. While it's a good idea to wash your sheets, disinfect your toilet, and change your toothbrush regularly, there is no scientific evidence that you can reinfect yourself with the stomach flu through any of these.

Yes. Make sure you wash your hands and try not to use things which you used whilst you had the bug (well boiling water would kill all the bacteria).
