Is it better to lift and do intense cardio on the same day, or to not lift at all?


Answers:

It's best to do anaerobic (weightlifting) on one day and aerobic (cardio, etc.) on another day. Alternating days gets you the best results because you're not too fatigued from one or the other to give the exercise your best. Also, you need a day or two in between weightlifting to let your muscles rest and get rid of waste (lactic acid).
