I used to think that what I was doing was bad and downright wrong and NOT normal. After reviewing HealthyStrokes.com I am kinda at ease in life.
I remember starting when I was 5 and my mother was downright straight with me. I don't remember what she told me, but I got the hint from her, that it was not a good/normal thing what I was doing.
She is a very good mother so please don't get me wrong.

Was my mother probably raised a way that these things aren't good or what? I am confused? I want to believe her and by the same token, facts and reality is what's happening now. LIVE!

It is perfectly normal for men and women to masturbate...but your mother was just raised in a different generation and by a different set of standards...she was only teaching you what she thought was morally and/or religiously correct...doing it for your own good as any good parent would do...she is just misinformed...just taught that way herself I'm sure.
