i was recently in the gym's sauna in my bikini with a stranger and i was laying down and i could hear really heavy strange breathing....was it just too hot for him to breath? or was i in the presence of a perv? ha, i'm serious

It's a pretty good chance that the humidity was affecting his breathing, the humidity sticking to your hot body! I've been in many saunas over the years and never had a hard time breathing.
