Would You Still Want To Live If This Happened To You?!

Question:

Would You Still Want To Live If This Happened To You?

If something really embarrassing happened to you in your life, like having worn diapers until you were 6 would you still want to live? Would you be able to feel like a man somehowe in spite of it?

I have memories of wearing diapers at 5 and 6 that drive me insane. Even seeing diaper commercials with 2 year olds in them saying "I'm a big kid now" drive me nuts b/c they're able to wear regular underwear when I was walking around like an ******* in diapers in kindergarten under my clothes.

I know it sounds so messed up, but sometimes I even think of asking my Dad to put me in a diaper now even though I'm 26. Even though what happened to me humiliated me, I'm attracted to diapers now.

Sometimes I want to kill myself over this. I don't feel like a guy at all. I won't write a long story here about why I was in diapers so long because I know not everyone is going to be interested in reading it, but I'll put a link on the bottom of this question to those that do.

Answers:

I think that although it seems like a big deal when you look back, you should think of two things:

1) There is nothing wrong with wearing diapers at age, 3, 6, 9, 19, 36, 54, 68. Whenever! Sometimes, personal or medical problems make it necessary and you should not be ashamed. It might have been difficult if kids made fun of you, but it doesn't sound like that was an issue. So, definitely, don't think there is anything wrong with it.

2) It's over, it's in the past and you don't need to worry about something that's in the past. It happened and you are not permanently crippled or have any lasting effects from it.

Ok, so sometimes you fantasise about it, that's normal too! People fantasise about all sorts of things and diaper wearing is pretty tame. It obviously made a big impression on you so I think that's totally to be expected.

And the average IQ is 90-110, so you are very normal when it comes to measured intelligence. IQ tests don't measure how successful you will be in life or your happiness. Don't worry about it.

In fact, the only thing that is a real problem that needs to be dealt with is that you are worrying too much about it. It is not worth worrying about it so much. I definitely think a counsellor would help, go and see your doctor to get a referral, and don't stress over it.

I think you can have a really enjoyable life that's worth living. Accept yourself and don't let this one thing take over. I think you sound like a nice guy and I think your life is worth living. Don't give up!
