Ok I made a Deal with my ex-girlfriend, at the end of our vacation she would lose some weight (even though she is not fat) and I will get some muscles. I would be able to pick her up. My plan is to sweep her off her feet but i only have one 10.lbs weight and my money is pretty tight so what can i do to help me gain strenght?

Use your own body as the weight. You can do this at home by doing exercises like push ups and pull ups. Have a look around the house to see if there is anything you can grab onto and use.
Also, if you want to expand the amounts of exercises you do, you could fill an old suitcase with clothes and use it as weight, even tables and chairs can be used if put into the right positions. You just need to be creative and look around the house.
