Question: Epididymitis!?! Whats the cause?
Im 17 years old and play alot of basketball.. I ransomly got a pain in my right testicle 3 1/2 weeks ago. The pain started only in my testicle and couple days later went into my lower abdominal and lower back.. I felt a pimple sized lump on the epididymit ( srry 4 the spelling ) and it would hurt when i touched it.. I also tried to find the lump on the left side and found about the same thing.. Tge pain right now only buggs me an hour a day, and when i touch my testicles it hurts as in being sore but after when i touch it the pain goes away. What can this be.
My friend said it could be from not wearing protective underwear when i play basketball.. Can that be??

you are supposed to have 2 lumps there however it sounds like they are swollen from an infection, you need antibiotics from the doctors
Usually some sort of trauma or damage.
At 17 = Could be growing pains of course
but may be from basketball.
Your friend may be ight about the protector.
