Dick hurts after shower?!

Question: Dick hurts after shower?
Today i realised i had this thing called smegma and asked what i should do, i got told to wash it out sort of. So today in the shower i retracted my foreskin and got rid of the smegma, which felt really WEIRD. Though when i got out and put on my undies (after i toweled off), my foreskin hurt like hell, so i had to dawdle like a duck instead of walking normally. So at this very moment my foreskin still stings. HELP!!!

PS: i dont know if this will help but my foreskin is a bit red, not heaps red though, just a little bit. Also when i pee, it stings a little (i sit down to pee and i don't retract my foreskin when i pee).

Answers:

Most likely you used some soap/shower gel, which disolved your protective oily-layer on the head, so next time, just rub it off, no soaps.

Smegma is a waste product formed of stale body oils, shed skin cells, miscellaneous dirt and dust, stale urine and stale semen. As an oil based material it will not be completely removed with water alone. One must use soap - but then rinse it off well with plain water.

Since you've only just realised that you have smegma, presumably you have not been regularly retracting your foreskin. It is because you have done this for the first time, and then rubbed away at it to remove the smegma, that it is currently red and sore. It will settle down fairly fast, but avoid masturbation until this happens. Leave it a day or so before washing under it again, but when you can retract and wash without it becoming red again then you need to wash under the foreskin daily to stop smegma accumulating.

You should also develop the habit of retracting your foreskin when you pee so as to not trap some urine inside it. The trapped urine will add to the stinging you are experiencing as well as helping make more smelly smegma.

I'm very glad my parents had me circumcised so I've never had to worry about smegma or a sore foreskin!
