Question: What age does a boy's "manhood" change into what it will be as a man?
Okay...son is 13 years old and is 6'1 and wears a size 14 shoe.
His voice has already dropped, and one time when he was 9, I accidentally saw his penis (he squatted in front of me and his boxers were loose), and it was still a "little boy" penis.
Well, fast forward a few years, to 11, and he had to go to the bathroom badly and a man was in there and taking his sweet time, so I brought him into the women's room. I was standing with my back to the stall and in the mirror in front of me, through the crack in the stall (I had to lean on the door to keep it shut) I saw him wipe, and his penis was defintely "man sized".
Well, yesterday, they were out of school and he was on my bed watching my daughter play a computer game, and he rolled backward to get off the bed, but had to move his legs quickly to avoid rolling over our dog, and his shorts were loose and he wasn't wearing any underwear, but I noticed he already had hair on his testicles.
Is this normal for a 13 year old boy? To be "that" developed at that age? I thought you didn't get that developed until 20, 21-ish.
I am so embarrassed to have seen anyway (we adopted him at 9, so it's not like I'd ever seen it in bathing when he was a baby), but I just want to make sure I'm worrying over nothing.
In the past I had heard early developers were at higher risk of testicular cancer...should we have him checked and teach him how to check himself being he appears to already have his "manhood".
If so, how do I approach him with this without embarrassing the heck out of him that I've accidentally seen his privates?

It is perfectly normal. Puberty onset for boys is around 11-15 years old. Don't say anything to your because it will cause embarrassment.
Personal experience. I was 13 myself at one time.
take it easy... your boy's penis is fine... he's a big kid, and has defintiely started puberty
if it really bothers you go to doctor, don't ask here
No thats normal boys develop anywhere from 12 to as late as 21 or so all has to do with genes but I would have a doctor talk to him about doing self checks.

Communications should be open between the parents and kids. They should feel free to ask you any question and you answer it truthfully as well as either one of you being nude in front of the other. Too many relate nudity with sex, and it is far from that. He may want to know how you know if you approach him with it.
Nothing really to worry about I got my first pubic hair at age 12 I my penis went from about 5" to 7" now that I am a man my penis ended up at 8.5" and it is perfectly normal not to wear any underwear I havent worn any since I was 12 now 41
A guys penis can shrink and grow dramatically. It could be 8 inches erect, but when it's cold, or he is scared, nervous etc. It can shrink all the way down to one inch! And resemble childs. And the testicals can be squeezed very tight and even up into the body. People don't realize how much the penis can shrink and grow! The penis is one of the first things to grow in puberty, he is probably normal. But most women don't recognize shrinkage!
