Question: Lose thirty pounds in two months?
I weight 297 pounds and want to lose 30lbs in two months so I can fit into these jeans. I was think if I lift weight 4 days out the week and run 2miles a day and do some extra cardio. Also a low carb diet and drinking a lot of water. Anything else I should do.

That is too much to lose. Make it three months and the weight comes off smart and stays off



Talk to your doctor before beginning an exercise program. You should not start off running 2 miles a day, especially at your weight as you could have a heart attack. You should start out with walking. You will burn the same amount of calories for a particular distance by walking vs running, it will just take you longer. You can do some weights to tone your muscles but cardio is what will burn the calories. Avoid gimmick diets and don't try to lose weight too quickly. You should probably not lose more than about 2 pounds per week so you could lose about 20 lb in 2 months. Allow yourself treats now and then so you won't start binge eating. Good luck.



Losing weight that fast would be dangerous. Just be patient, you dont wanna throw your body into shock. Besides, if you lose it that fast, its very likely to bounce back and then some, just after you quit your special diet.
