Lost my voice, can't get part of it back!!?!

Ok, so a while ago i had a sinus infection!. then i lost my voice because i was coughing so much and coughing up all this stuff!. now i dont have the sinus infection any more but my throat kinda hurts!. my voice is back, except i cant speak in high tones, like when i used to laugh my voice would break a bit into a higher pitch, but now thats gone!. i cant sing falsetto anymore either, like just above the normal range of my voice!. when i do try to go that high, it sounds like the sound when youve been screaming all day and try to yell or something!. any advice on getting the higher end of my voice back!?!?
more importantly, is it gone forever, or do i just give it time!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
