Ok i'm actually a guy and went to a surgery and saw a female doctor, she apparently had to take my pulse with me having to take my top off!.!.!.!.!.this can't be right can it!?

Yes, she took your pulse, but a lot of things happen during a physical examination: palpations (looking for enlarged liver, heart, spleen, etc), checking respiration, listening to your heart (checking for murmurs and possibly pulmonary embolisms), etc!.
Case in point:
I had a large cyst on my scrotum which I decided to have removed!. I found it extremely embarrassing to be naked and have two guys holding my scrotum and incising it, and afterwards I apologized for the procedure!. One of the doctors turned to me and said, "Oh, PLEASE -- we see a hundred scrotums a day!"
Considering all the problems that guys come in with, e!.g!., STDs, cysts, kidney stones, testicular tumors, phimosis, balanitis (yes, penises DO get inflamed!), fungal infections, staph infections, hemorrhoids, prolapsed rectums, etc!. -- we might think it's a big deal to take our clothes off in front of a doctor but for them it's just another patient!. what do mean she apparently had to take your pulse!? She's a doctor!. You're actually a guy!? And not a fake one!? You went to a surgery!? Like to watch or something!? Or were you going to have surgery!? If so, then what's the big deal!? She's probably going to see all your bits during the surgery!. And guys don't call shirts "tops"!. Girls call them tops!.
