Any tips to gain weight for a skinny 13 year old?!


Question: Any tips to gain weight for a skinny 13 year old!?
I'm a skinny 5'6 13 year old, who weigh 104 pounds, and is trying to gain aleast 30 pounds, before I go to high school!.(3 months) Can anyone give me some tips on gaining weight, eating properly, and etc!?

Increase your carbs and protein - pbj sandwiches are great!. Instead of eating 2-3 large meals each day, try to 4-6 regular meals!. Also, have a mini-meal between supper and bedtime!.
Try to stay away from processed sugar and fake food - like Twinkies and such; just eat healthy!.

Complement this with plenty of exercise!. Remember, muscle mass weighs more than fat!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

at 13 you shouldnt be worried about gaining weight!. you should have just started or be soon to start going through puberty which will actually make your body change shape and you will naturally gain a bit more weight!. dont stress, if you start trying to put on weight you may find you might start becoming overweight which is bad for yourself!. you still have a lot of growing to do, make sure you eat lots of fruit, vegies carbohydrates (breads, pasta etc) and plenty of dairy products (milk, cheese ans yoghurt) to help with your bone development and for healthy teeth tooWww@Answer-Health@Com

You are only 13!.Many teenagers are very thin, but they put on weight automatically as they grow older!. This is because teenagers have a very high metabolic rate and burn calories fast!. So you should not try to put on weight by eating fatty food, since it is difficult to lose this fat later!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Eat more but healthy because you dont want to end up being overweight!. You could also try and gain some muscle weight by doing push ups, pull ups, crunches, ect!. Here is a website that you could get some ideas from!. Also drink lots of water if your exercising so you dont get dehydrated!!!!

if i was you i wouldn't worry about gaining weight at that age, you don't need to be ripped to have girls take notice (i guess thats why u wanna do that) just be healthy so your not a fatboy, should be enough until you are 15 or so then you start working outWww@Answer-Health@Com
