yes its normal. My husband can't either unless he helps me with his hand...LOL. He has never really been able to get off from oral sex, and Im the queen...LOL. You need to take control a few mins into it, I feel ya I had that same problem. Most likely the feeling is so soft its not really putting as much pressure on your member.
Ask her if you can take control during oral and see what happens. Might be the fact you cant let go of control, but once you figure out the actual reason you can change it
