It is completely normal -- and most of the friends that are saying its gross and wrong are doing it and enjoying it, but then feeling badly about it afterwards because they have, sadly, learned to feel guilt over a wonderful, natural act.

I've known exactly one male in my life who didn't masturbate regularly (as in a minimum of a few times a week, and generally once a day or more) from roughly your age forward. That one had... well honestly, serious emotional difficulties.

The question isn't whether all males do it -- there are two types of males, those that say they masturbate and those who lie -- but whether a person lets himself enjoy it and takes pleasure in himself -- which he should; or not.

Believe in yourself.

    your friends will do it even if they dont yet they will as they get older. No there is nothing wring with masturbating, not all of us like to admit that we do it but we go. but there is no need to discuss waht you do with your friends though keep what you do private x

    Hon it's very normal to masturbate. Especially at your age. You are in you teen/pre teen years. It's not wrong, your friends probably do it too. They just might not know they are doing it. Even if they aren't they will! They might even know and they are just worried that what they are doing is wrong and they are giving you a hard time. Your fine!

    Its fine and your friends probably all do it and if they don't they will.
    Most of your guys may say that, but they are doing the same thing I can guarantee, if they have "hit" puberty. Some may not be there yet so they don't "get it". Figure 99.9% of all guys in your school with pubic hair are masterbating several times a week at least, and any male teachers do to, same with most adult males. Solo sex is a lifetime way to enjoy yourself.
    Either your friends are kidding you, or they haven't discovered it yet, in which case you're ahead of them. They'll eventually find out what they're missing.
