Urine test at 14 year old checkup?!
Question: If i need a urine yest at my 14 year old checkup how do they have you do it? do they have you pee in a cup at the office? or do they give you one to take home then bring it back? What if you don't have to pee when your at the doctors?

They usually have you pee at the office if they're going to give you a urine test. But unless you're having symptoms of a urine infection or something, there's no reason why they would check that at a 14yr PE.
You go into the bathroom with a cup and pee into it. If you don't have to you do anyway.
you pee in a cup at the office & if you cant go before you leave them they may give you a cup to take home & bring back asap..
You should ask at the surgery for a sample bottle a day or two before you are due to go .
The sample should be from your first pee of the day

PS if you do not have time to collect the bottle you can use any small empty bottle . You will need to clean it out with warm soapy water and then rinse and dry thoroughly
You pee in a cup at the office. Its a routine procedure mainly to see if everything is fine. Urine color also tells you if you are getting enough fluids or what not. I say drink a lot before going to the doctors...and if you been smoking out or doing any drugs they will see it in your urine...hope you study for the test :-)
I've had to do that. They give you a cup and you go in the bathroom and pee. I told the doctor I didn't have to and he said to try anyway. I was suprised that I could pee if I tried. Not a lot but they don't need very much.
