My Ex-Boyfriend shows signs of depression, what do you think?!
Question:
My Ex-Boyfriend shows signs of depression, what do you think?
My Ex-Boyfriend and I are still really good friends. Months into our relationship I noticed signs of depression, and I don't see things getting any better for him. He is 25 years old, has no friends other than people @ work, and sits home all day playing Final Fantasy Online. Now that I have a new boyfriend and spend less time with him, I still worry about him being alone...he could do anything. He says he's depressed because he is overweight, and he's now taking diet pills with caffeine pills. I'm not so sure that's healthy...so when I confronted him about it he got very defensive. What I don't get is when I talk to his mother about it its like she doesn't care. Ever since he's been taking depression medication he's almost bipolar. What can I do to help since his family won't?

Answers:
if you are still spending some time with each other, and both are ok with it, why dont you do something to help him his weight? i dont know, what you do, when you are together, but what about goint to a swimming pool together? swimming is the best way how to get fit, you will spend time together, and he might find a new hobby.
