How do i make myself come out of tension?!


Question:

How do i make myself come out of tension?

i'm a person who gets tensed in the slightest bit..and sometimes it causes people to get irritated and annoyed..but i cant help it it comes naturally to me..plzz tell me someone..how do i calm myself down..


Answers:

Try to look around towards nature. Trees, birds chirping, branches waving, feel the breeze.

Count 100.

Open any spiritual book - Bhagavadgita, Bible, Koran, Guru Grandha Sahib or any such book. Open suddenly a page and read the contents.

Try to lie flat on bed and close your eyes, rub your face, (wash your face with normal water), play Indian Instrumental Music (Veena, sitar, flute, violin etc)

There must be a root cause for your tension or irritability. Try to find what triggers tension. Some childhood incident? some insult? Try to think through it giving time to details and the frustration caused by such incidents will be totally removed.

Slowly start practising yoga and meditation.
