Mania with effexor?!

Mania with effexor?

Has anyone else experienced mania or hypomania while using effexor for bipolar disorder?

I am seeing a therapist & a psychiatrist... just looking for some opinions from others who may have been through the same. No more sarcastic responses, please! Thank you friends!

yes I have, I get hyper-mania off a lot of antidepressants if I am 1 not on the right amount of mood stabilizer,, 2 not on the right mood stabilizer or 3 not on any mood stabilizer. the best thing you can do is speak with your pdoc about it. take care good luck
