What is the best drug for bipolar mania?

Today when I went to my therapy session I had to flat out tell her I was feeling manic as to which she proceeded to drag my kite down a bit. I kinda like being brought back down to Earth. Finding a balance is a full time job. Let me know what works for you. Thanks!!

Im already taking lithium and neurontin but the manic side is still popping up.

What worked for me is realizing that i fit into that special "sensitive person" category. I studied psychology and sociology to heal from childhood wounds and started studying nutrition and the human body so that i could take my well being into my own hands. Next I found a wonderful doctor who understood "sensitive" people and knew that alot of anxious problems stem from allergies. She referred me to a naturalistic doctor and didn't give me or my children a prescription for drugs which only covers up the problem and keeps you stagnant and undeveloped as a "sensitive" person. To follow the path that's right for you listen to your instinct and you'll never go wrong. Meditate and listen to the small still voice inside of you for answers. Don't get stuck and stagnate inside of the Psychiatric(psycho) cycle. Remember to always use positive affirmations and visualize good things for when you focus on negativity it brings you more. Study the "universal laws". Good luck in finding the "absolute" answer to your problem.
