Post-drug sensations that dont feel GOOOD?

I used to do alot of drugs and i wanted to kno if these things im experiencing are from them. like ill be doing something and i kinda get a flashback feeling of a time when i was scared or parinoid when i was high and i just kinda sit there remembering what happened and just what it felt like. and what ever i remember is usually a bad memory like me thinking the cops were after me or thinking my hands were dirty and filled with germs and that i kept having to wash them and my friends trying to help me relax and it just feels i dont know, bad...another feeling that strikes me is like checking over things. like ill put a shirt in the closet and i have to check 50 more times that i put it there or wash my hands every minute. is it from that or is it maybe something else, like ocd?

i am not familiar with addictions but i have heard that sometimes when u give up one addiction you replace it (not intentionally replace it) with another one and maybe the ocd symptoms you are experiencing is the way it is being made known . i would seek help for the fact ocd symptoms can interfere with your life . i would call your doctor see about getting involved with a therpist &psychiatrist to help you with both aspects .you may have ocd and the drugs just convered it up but now that you arnt durgged up you are noticing it now .sorry for the lousy terminology im not very familiar wuith drug abuse or drugs period .but i do know somethings with ocd and mental issues . but i would def see your dr and talk it over with him/her.good luck on finding the help you need and congratulations on deciding to quit the drugs i hope you have a good recovery from it good luck
