Weight gain and effexor...?!

Weight gain and effexor...?

i am going on effexor for depression after a bad breakup. I'm VERY scared of weight gain!! i went on paxil 3 years ago for anxiety and i gained 30 lbs. has anyone gained a lot of weight with effexor?


Answers:

the opposite happened to me, I had been on many different anti depressants and gained some weight. I started on efexor and somehow the weight fell off. It doesn't always mean weight gain
