hi im bubba and i live in nebraska and my dad has a junk collecting problem and i dont kno what to do he just keeps bring stuff home and pillin it up our house has only 3 bed rooms and 2 of the are filled to the celing with junk u cant even go in them and my livin room is filled up with all hiz stuff and same wit our dinin room and almos the kitche too we have to walk through our house lyk mazes and we have 6 ppl in our family and we all have to sleep in one room its really annoyin and u hardly have n e privacy what should i do?

your dad may be a compulsive hoarder. i know it can be an inconvience a close family member of mine has that problem.

hoarding is also associated with obsessive compulsive disorder (ocd) its not something he can just stop he'll need to get medical treatment. in some cases medication can help alleviate symptoms.
