Good advice from other people.

Firstly you come across as intelligent and articulate, stay strong and repeat everything you have told us to your Mum and Doctor again and STRESS just how you are feeling.

Kids your age can feel awkward and shy and very aware of themselves at this age. My own sons will always be quiet and shy amongst strangers, I know that, but I have gently encouraged them to go out, not all the time but when they are comfy to or I get them to invite their mates around.

Last year when they were 14 they worried me in that they were like you i.e shy and anxious. I made changes slowly and they are much more outgoing now.

Trust me darling, no one is looking at you or bothered by you when you are out and about, it saddens me to hear you are suffering alone like this. I think you were great to bring it up with your Mum, my sons didn't; I had just noticed they were not going out anymore to play sports, cinema etc.

Stay strong, and please adopt a more positive mental attitude (sorry to sound Mumsy)
Talking of school, why dont you talk to a favourite teacher ?
I teach, and am happy when children confide in me and I can help them out.
You are the one to change the way you think, you sound lovely and smart- someone who other people would want to be mates with!!!!
Keep in touch and let us all know how things go. You can always e-mail me on my profile page.
Best of luck and big hugs!! xxxx
