Is this consistent with body dysmorphic disorder?!

Question:

Is this consistent with body dysmorphic disorder?

I am CONSTANTLY worried about being overweight...
I look in mirrors at any chance I get to make sure I havent gained weight...

I first became obsessed with my weight when I was 9 years old because my mom kept telling me I had to lose weight and no matter how much I lost it wasnt good enough... And I first became anorexic when I was 9... I recovered by the time I was 11... When I was 13 I became anorexic again and recovered when I was 14... On occasion I make myself puke if I think I've ate way too much... When I was 17 I became a cocaine addict because I knew it would make me lose weight and I am now 14 days clean (I'm still 17)... I exercise to extremes that make me very weak and occasionally pass out... I almost enjoy puking because I know its helping me lose weight...

I look really fat even though I'm at a healthy weight... I hate how big my hips are... And my thighs are HUGE...
My boyfriend says I'm crazy for thinking I'm fat... And I hate it when he touches my thighs...

I'm not anorexic anymore, I eat aprox 1000cal a day, which although I know is not enough, I'm trying... Now rather than losing weight by starvation I try to eat fruits and vegetables and exercise regularly... So I dont wanna read people saying I'm anorexic because I know I'm not...

Answers:

This is close to body dysmorphic disorder but it sounds more like anorexia and bulimia. Your boyfriend is right. If he can accept you for the way you are and look then you are half way there. He along with your Dr. can help you overcome your anxiety.
CONGRATULATIONS on being clean for 14 days!!!! Give yourself a pat on the back and keep up the good work. You can be whatever you want to be if you put your mind to it. You have your boyfriend there who sounds like he loves you very much. Also here is a quote for you...
"The best asset a person can have, is having someone who believes in them"
You have two that I know of, your boyfriend and me (even if I am a total stranger)
