Do I have ADHD or ADD or possibly suffering from sleep deprivation?!
Question: Do I have ADHD or ADD or possibly suffering from sleep deprivation?
The one thing I want to say the cause is maybe my sleep pattern. My sleep schedule is usually all over the place and is never consistent. I blame work and school for this. Could this be because of this or some other cause? Should i go see a neurologist or see if my doctor can prescribe a sleep aid. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

It really sounds like sleep deprivation and STRESS! You are pressed for time and assignments my friend.I see this all the time.Just get some candles at sleep and soothing music.Water fall sounds and just know that if your calm everything else falls into place. It will be a win-win.Stress will develop into many other labels if u let it.Don't sell yourself short.Peace to you and good luck.
In order to give a proper suggestion, I would like to go through your previous medical history.
OR, as you yourself feel in the last two lines, it is always better to consult a neurologist or your family doctor and consult with him/her threadbare about all your symptoms. Please feel free to transparently discuss all your problems without hiding any basic information. A sound mind in a sound body is a must for everybody.

Sounds like ADHD to me or it could be anxiety. You need to get yourself on a very disciplined schedule. I wouldn't go see a neurologist, go see a therapist/physchiatrist that specializes in ADHD and Anxiety disorders.
I've had the same problem for some time now on and off. I have tourettes, OCD, and some sort of anxiety disorder, I haven't pinpointed what yet. I've had the same symptoms as you, and they disappear when I get more than my usual 5 hours of sleep. So what I can say is get some sleep. For example, it's 1:50 AM my time and I'm bored out of my skull, so im typing this, I will not enjoy tomorrow, I also consulted a friend who noticed my odd behavior and she said I was over reacting. It died down after that, a little. Trying not to think about it and relaxing really helped too, This is from a guy 9th grade's perspective, but it should help a bit.
Personal experience.
Idk but I wouldn't take a prescribed sleep aid. I've taken many and they have had such bad side effects on me. Xanax on the other hand has helped me with my insomnia for several years now.
If u have adhd I wouldn't want u to take meds for it. I mean u made it through high school without meds and now ur in college. I was prescribed adderall when I was 15 I think. Well it is a methanphedamine and led to a life of alcohol and drug use. I don't blame the adderall only for this but I know it contributed.
When it come to meds u gotta ask urself "are the benefits worth the risks" and trust me there are risks.
