Consequences of failed suicide attempt?!
Question: Consequences of failed suicide attempt?
Thanks in advance :)
Answers:
not necessarily but they would probably be diagnosed with depression or something or put on suicide watch for a while.. but that could be by the family as well. im not really sure
Probably not, though I imagine most parents would make them see a doctor or counselor; it really depends on your character's family and how close they are, the parents' attitudes about depression, and so forth. For all that people joke about getting sent to the loony bin, most teenagers who attempt suicide don't actually get sent to mental hospitals.
I've known people who were around that age and attempted suicide. None of them were ever institutionalized.
Well, it depends on which hospital and what the doctor felt. Having worked in a hospital, I have known doctors to push religion on those facing mental challenges. If the patient doesn't want to hear it, the doctors just write them off and send them home. So, there are a lot of factors that would make a difference in the answer to that question.
Depends on the parents. They could take him to the er and if they deemed him a danger to himself, hed be admitted against his will
My my, there are a lot of teenagers 'writing books' on suicide these days. Do you not have happier things to write about?
Come on now. Please stop this.
Yes they could be sent to a mental home.
