Well, my friend is currently in a stressed out situation, so I have a little experience.
Some say that chocolate releases endorphins in the brain. (The "feel-good" cells) Try eating some coco! :-D
Also, try other methods of de-stressing other than working out. Go rent a movie, make some tea, and cuddle up for a few hours.
There are plenty natural feel-good herbal teas that help, too.
And on the note that you don't have time, try to watch the movie before bed, in a mid-light area.
The tea will help calm you before bed, and you should be able to sleep better. Just don't rent a horror movie. :(
