What is stress eating?!
Question: What is stress eating?
Answers:
Here's what I've been told. Over-eating will fill the stomach, which sits on the large intestine, moving more blood up to the brain, causing a sense of relaxation, which is much better than feeling distressed.
I don't know if it's true or not. There is a reason that some heavy caloried foods are called "comfort foods", I suppose. They sit in your stomach like a rock.
I agree that food has a chemical reaction in your body when you consume it. A lot of women run for chocolate when they are stressed, because it supposedly has a better reaction than sex. The activity in the brain increases. I eat junk when I'm stressed out. My diet gets ruined and then makes me even more depressed. It's a vicious cycle.
it means that you eat a lot when you are depressed. you don't know when to stop
