How can I deal with the fact that im going to die?!

Question: How can I deal with the fact that im going to die?
For the past year I can't stop thinking about dying. What happens when I die? Will I die tomorrow? Will I die in my 40's? 50's? Will it be a painful death? I don't want to die but at the same time in the past 2 months I have been having suicide thoughts because I want to get it over now rather than waiting to find out. what can I do?

Please don't bring religion or God into this.

I suggest you assume that you are immortal and even cannot kill yourself. Try to love this life by using the receipt which I’ve written below:

I have suffered from severe depression from my 18 to 28, I used to think about suicide every day but then I started to do some new things in my life. I have written below those rules which I call “The recipe for happiness”. Thanks to that recipe I have been very happy for 2 years (I’m 30 now).

1) Take heed of your nutrition. Take foods which contain protein like meat (red, chicken, fish), egg, milk, cheese. Eat enough fruit every day. Try to minimise foods which contain sugar and fat. If possible, don’t eat any of them.
2) Do an hour of hard physical exercise every day. There is nothing else which has the same effect with physical exercise. Do stretching as much as you can do every day at suitable times.
3) Run (or at least walk fast) outside at least two days in a week.
4) Take heed of your sleep. Many people need 8 hours sleep in a day. Both of too less and too much sleep make you depressed and fat. Try to go to bed at the same time every night and wake up at the same time every morning.
5) Take some time to learn new things especially by reading every day. This will make you to think better. Make yourself busy with useful things and don’t let bad thoughts come to your mind.
6) Listen to some good music every day and try to mumble some songs and melodies at home. Try to get into the habit of beating out while listening to a song.
7) Try to avoid stress and grief as much as you can. These are the biggest enemies of the brain.
8) Choose your friends carefully. Move away from those who say bad things to you or urges you to do harmful or useless things. Even being alone is much better than being with bad friends. However, if you are able to find good friends, that will be better of course.
9) Use self hypnosis method: Record yourself with a voice recorder. Speak distinctly and say short and positive sentences like "I like living. I like my life. I like myself. I like reading. I like doing exercise." (add what you want to do) and listen to that record every time which is possible, especially when you go to bed to sleep and while sleeping even until morning (Set your player to repeat it continuously). You will see that it works within 3 days.

You are going to die, period, full stop. Worrying about it is not going to change anything. And when the time comes a surge of adrenaline* will make it 'better', easier and bearable. You are many times stronger than you can imagine. With time, you get used to everything, even hanging - after 2 minutes you won't notice it anymore. Don't forget: the pain you are feeling now is not a patch to the pain you will leave behind when you leave this earth.
Peace.

We're all going to die. The 10 people that have already commented on this are going to die. I'm going to die, you're going to die, WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE. it's a part of life, and we all have to suck it up and deal with it because it's something we can't change.
Please don't kill youself. You could live a marvellous life to be an old man with a wonderful wife and kids and grandkids, or you could sacrifice your life for one you love dearly one day. We all contemplate how we're going to die, but it's something we're never going to find out until it happens, so why end it now when you could wait how many years it's going to be to answer your question and find out how it's really going to end. It will be a mighty adventure on the way to death, and who would want to miss it?

The only thing I can suggest would be to speak to a therapist of some sort. This fear can be treated like any other fear or phobia can. It is normal to wonder, but not to worry yourself sick and obsess. Google psycologist/psyciatrist in your area. Good luck.

Right, the last thing u want to do is commit suicide. Get that thought out of ur head. Why not try and "live in the now" I have used this motto for years and it has got me past so many things including suicide. Just say to urself, why sould I live the rest of my life worrying about when I'm going to die? And enjoy the life you have.
Hope I helped and good luck. xx

Everyone and everything eventually dies.. Whatever happens happens just live your life to the fullest and tell the people you love, you love them daily.

Dude... You are going to die...
Why end it? Live life to its fullest. This sounds so corny and commonly said, but I swear, it will get better... You might now believe me now, but it will be better in the future. You just gotta trust.

If you can't live for yourself, live for others. Life is a precious asset which is provided to you. If you cant use it, then at least help those who need it.

Oh dear. Honestly, don't you think that what you do not want to hear might be the answer you are looking for? God! Try seeking him and you will be shocked and amazed by the positive results.

Good luck dear

KILL YOURSELF OR BECOME IMMORTAL
