i am not an attention seeker i just need some good advise?!

Question: I am not an attention seeker i just need some good advise?
ugh. where do i start? i am twelve my parents think i am just a little attention seeking brat. over the summer i moved away from the best friends i have ever had (i move a lot) and my parents said i would get to visit and have lots of sleepovers with them. of course, i have only seen them like 5 times. i usually like my new school and make friends quickly but here i hate it! i have almost no friends and i feel my old friends slipping away. we don't share the same inside jokes and i barely know what is going on in their life. for the past two months i have noticed i am acting weird. i looked up depression symptoms and i have almost all of them.
* Sadness or hopelessness
* Irritability, anger, or hostility
* Tearfulness or frequent crying
* Withdrawal from friends and family
* Loss of interest in activities
* Changes in eating and sleeping habits
* Restlessness and agitation
* Feelings of worthlessness and guilt
* Lack of enthusiasm and motivation
* Fatigue or lack of energy
* Difficulty concentrating
plus my grades are really dropping and i have weird back pains all the time. i don't know what to do. if i told my parents they would laugh in my face and not take me seriously. please help ANY ADVISE WOULD BE GOOD!

Sounds like you've already been through a lot in your 12 years, man. Don't worry, as you grow up things will change and you'll meet new people, move on to high school, and (if you decide to) college. So many opportunities await you in life; you're just in a really rough spot right now.

Depression is a real thing, so if you feel that you have some of those symptoms, my advice is to talk to somebody you're close to about it. A parent, guardian, teacher, buddy, etc. would be good, just to get you back on your feet.

Just remember that you'll lose friends and gain friends in life, it's simply part of it. I've lost many of my closest friends, but I've also met many other people that are now my closest friends.

Hang in there.

My opinion. I'm a 17 year old high school senior.
